We’re a boutique wealth management firm on Long Island that helps successful families maximize income, invest smarter, and reduce taxes. Our tax division, Quest Tax, is expanding for the 2025 filing season, and we’re looking for one or two exceptional students to join us.

If you’re a junior or senior accounting major who wants more than busy work, if you want to understand how tax returns drive financial strategy, this is where you start.

What You’ll Do

• Own the client documentation process from start to finish - organizing, tracking, and  uploading sensitive tax documents for review.
• Communicate directly with clients to collect missing information and ensure every 1040 package is complete and compliant.
• Coordinate between our enrolled agent and wealth advisors to keep filings moving on schedule.
• Learn to truly read and interpret a Federal 1040, connecting tax data to real world financial decisions.
• Operate inside a proven system — a set of procedures designed to make you faster, sharper, and more valuable.

The ideal candidate: 

• Is a junior or senior pursuing an Accounting degree.
• Has a record of sustained success — maybe in sports, music, work, or academics something that proves you can perform under pressure.
• Demonstrates grit, curiosity, and attention to detail.
• Communicates clearly and respectfully.
• Takes pride in delivering accurate results, every time.

Details

• Duration: February – April 2025 (with possible Summer 2025 extension)
• Schedule: 15–25 hours/week, flexible around class commitments
• Location: Hauppauge, NY (on-site, with some hybrid flexibility)
• Compensation: Competitive hourly rate
