InStep MBA Summer Internship (Business Development, Sales, Strategy)

Infosys is a global consulting and digital transformation company whose clients include top brands like Amazon, Morgan Stanley, Coca Cola, and Pfizer. Its internship, “InStep” is also rated one of the best internships in the world, according to Vault.com.

InStep MBA interns put their strategy, business development, and consulting skills to the test during our 10-week long business development internship.

Interns' work varies according to the teams they are placed on. Some strategize with sales teams to uncover and explore business prospects within the technology space, some develop go to market strategies for an Infosys product, some are tasked with looking at competitors and trying to find weak spots that Infosys can turn into opportunities, some turn their gaze towards Infosys itself to help make the company stronger - the possibilities are limitless. 

This internship is best suited for candidates with a keen interest in business development and strategy. A background in sales or technology (preferably both) is highly valued.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in an MBA program, graduating December 2026-June 2027.
  • At least 3 years (36 months) of full-time work experience, pre-MBA and post-undergrad.
    • Part-time work, internships, self-employed, contract work, or volunteering experience will not be considered.
  • Full and permanent US work authorization (CPT/OPT/F1 not eligible.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Work experience in sales or technology (preferably both)
  • Work experience in one of these industries: financial services, CPG, energy, or logistics.

Date: Summer 2026

Duration: 10 weeks

Start Date: June 8

Location/Mode of Internship: Flexible (Remote internship, but office is optional.) Willingness to relocate post-graduation highly valued

Preferred Locations: Dallas, NYC area (NY/NJ), Charlotte, Atlanta, Indianapolis, Chicago, San Francisco, Seattle, Los Angeles, Boston

Compensation: $40/hour (8 hours/day, 5 days/week).
