Business Development Representative Intern
Overview of Position:
At EventPipe, we’re on a mission to make managing event housing simple, scalable, and stress-free. We provide innovative software solutions that help event producers, teams, travel agents, and housing companies simplify their housing operations.
As a Business Development Representative Intern (BDR Intern), you’ll gain hands-on experience driving new business opportunities and supporting EventPipe’s sales growth. You’ll learn how to identify and engage qualified prospects, support our Account Executives, and help promote Presto Deals — our exclusive discounted hotel offers for travel and event housing.
This internship is ideal for someone interested in building a career in sales, marketing, or business development within a fast-growing startup. You’ll develop real-world skills in outreach, communication, and lead generation while learning how a modern SaaS sales organization operates.
What You’ll Do:
- Prospect & Qualify Leads: Reach out to prospective customers via phone, email, and LinkedIn to generate new business opportunities.
- Support Account Executives: Schedule demos, hand off qualified leads, and ensure a smooth transition from prospecting to sales.
- Sell Presto Deals: Introduce and sell EventPipe’s Presto Deals offerings, helping event organizers and teams find great hotel rates and savings.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of outreach activity and lead progress in our CRM.
- Market Research: Identify new industries, events, or organizations that could benefit from EventPipe’s solutions.
- Collaboration: Partner with Marketing and Sales to improve outreach strategies and campaign effectiveness.
- Performance Tracking: Work toward weekly goals for calls, emails, and qualified leads — learning how to measure and manage a sales pipeline.
- Learn & Grow: Participate in training, mentorship, and team meetings to build your skills and understand the full sales process.
