Growing CPA and Financial Services firm in Ashburn, VA offers outsourced accounting, tax and financial services for small businesses and individuals. 

We are hiring Tax Interns for the 2026 tax season (January 2026 through April 2026) and it may begin as early as December 2025.  

Are you seeking some practical, hands-on experience to apply your accounting education in a small CPA offering training through a paid internship? Our internship offers you experience in tax preparation as well as applying accounting theory during the firm’s traditional “busy season” of January through mid-April while also gaining valuable experience and school credit.

As a Tax Intern, you will:

Work directly with principal providing tax services to clients.

Gain experience and training in various areas, including preparation of workpapers as well as Federal and State individual and business tax returns.

Develop in-depth knowledge of clients’ businesses and industries.

Qualified candidates will have:

• Minimum two years of accounting course work 
• Effective and thorough problem-solving skills
• Ability to think and work independently
• High attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, error free work
• Proficient and accurate computer keyboarding skills
• Proficient using computer software, especially Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word

Proficient in Chinese or Spanish a plus.
