Ideal Candidate Profile

We are specifically looking for graduates from Walton College of Business who are interested in joining our sales training and business development team. Candidates who have demonstrated leadership in campus organizations or possess prior sales or customer service experience are preferred for these positions.

 

Key Responsibilities

As a Business Development Representative at Datalink Networks, your primary responsibilities involve initiating communication with prospective clients about our core offerings—Cloud, AI, and Cyber Security services. You will leverage our digital marketing programs to reach out to these clients, helping to build relationships and foster interest in our technology solutions.

Business Development Responsibilities 

  • Send outbound emails and place phone calls to prospects targeted by our digital marketing automation platform.  
  • Email support on campaigns to targeted prospects
  • Interface with our account managers and marketing staff on marketing campaigns 
  • Set product demonstration and appointments for Sr. Account Executives 

 

Inside Sales Support Responsibilities

  • Assist our Account Executive team in client communications and phone call follow-up
  • Provide proposal quoting support to our Sr. Account team.
  • Send clients information on Datalink Networks IT products and services 
  • Participate in both online and virtual training sessions from our partners
  • Interface with partner vendor representatives, to drive business opportunities

 

System Support Responsibilities

  • Update customer contact records in Datalink Networks’ marketing automation platform
  • Update in house forecasting sales system 
  • Update deal registration opportunities in our technology partners system

 

 

Qualification Requirements: 

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree required  
  • Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills
  • Innate Competitive Drive to achieve
  • Ability to critically analyze information to identify sales opportunities 
  • Ability to organize and multi-task  
  • Great Organizational Skills
  • Great work ethic and people skills
