Elementary Special Education Teacher

POSITION: Grayling Elementary Special Education Teacher w/ hiring bonus. 
                                       
DESCRIPTION: Looking for a full-time special education teacher at the elementary level. Join our team for an exciting opportunity to work with students and be involved in an amazing school and community. $8,000 bonus to the selected candidate.  

QUALIFICATIONS:  Applicant must possess a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with certification to teach Special Education. Candidate must demonstrate the ability to work with a team.  Must demonstrate superior knowledge in remedial strategies and techniques, current educational research, the IEPC process, instruments for evaluation at all levels, classroom student observation techniques and reporting; and must be willing to communicate with staff, parents, administrators, and students regarding student progress, behavior and academic success.  Must be able to write Special Education goals and objectives, assist with and/or administer special education assessments such as MI-Access, and participate with the creation of behavioral intervention plans. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job responsibility.

SALARY: According to the terms of the Master Agreement.
