Camp Ozanam's Activity Specialists will implement fun, creative programming that allows campers to grow in their faith, promotes healthy physical activity, deepens their knowledge and appreciation of nature, and helps build new skills. Activity Specialists will prep, facilitate, and clean up from individual cabin and full-camp activities. Activity Specialists will understand and enforce all health and safety standards related to each activity area. When not facilitating activities, Activity Specialists will support the Program Team Leader, counseling staff, and food service staff as-needed.

 

Time Commitment

  • International Staff Arrival - June 15, 2026
  • International Staff Orientation - June 16, 2026
  • Specialized Training - June 17-19, 2026 (mandatory)
  • Program Staff Training - June 22-27, 2026 (mandatory)
  • Summer Program - June 29-August 1, 2026

 

Compensation

$400/week for 6.5 weeks + room & board; eligible for $250 end-of-summer bonus for good performance and working the full season ($2,850 for full summer). This may vary for international staff based on Visa sponsorship fees.

 

Time-Off

  • Weekday Breaks: 3 hour break/day Tuesday - Friday
  • Weekend Break: 2 pm Saturday - 8 am Monday

Lodging

Activity Specialists will live in a separate staff room attached to a cabin with up to 16 campers and 1-2 additional staff members.
