Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group, recently voted #1 in the nation as the best large mortgage company to work for by National Mortgage News and Top Virginia Employer for Interns, is seeking a Corporate Risk Intern, in the office of the Chief Risk & Compliance Officer in Charlottesville, Virginia to join our 2026 internship program.
The Corporate Risk Intern will report to the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer.
The internship program will begin May 18, 2026 and run through August 14, 2026.
What you’ll be doing
- Completing research and analysis as tasked focused on new and emerging strategic projects.
- Preparing reports for management and stakeholders.
- Working with various departments under the Corporate Risk umbrella to gain a deeper understanding of departmental roles and alignment to key initiatives.
- Rotating through the various departments (Legal, Cyber Risk, Risk and Compliance) providing support to the teams.
What you’ll bring
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deliverables.
- Strong written, oral, interpersonal skills with ability to analyze materials.
- Advanced PC skills including word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
- Ability to work up to 29 hours per week
- Currently enrolled in a form of secondary education, i.e., Trade School, College, Junior College, etc.
