Digital Marketing Coordinator

Since 1988, Bad Dog Tools has been making specialty and multi-purpose tools - serious tools that we market with a serious amount of fun to a wide range of industries including automotive, agriculture, construction, and aircraft. 

Whether engaging customers in-person at trade shows or online, we speak directly to the end-user and are looking for a Digital Marketing Coordinator for social and show digital  marketing efforts.  Experience with tools is a plus but most important is your ability to communicate efficiently, engagingly and effectively,

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to messages and comments on Bad Dog Tools’ social channels (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok) with assistance, as necessary, from designer, engineer, and marketing.
  • Seek out and engage with Bad Dog Tools related content in the wider digital space including cross-marketing especially with the 250 in-person tradeshows in which Bad Dog Tools participates each year.
  • Maintain up-to-date info and posts online for “directory” listings for Bad Dog Tools’ in-person trade shows.
  • Create and distribute content on all social channels including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok following content calendar with support, as necessary, from designer and marketing.
  • Develop ad creative for digital marketing team.
  • Maintain website content to match current promotions including changing website headers and creating coupon codes, etc.
  • Assist with creation and distribution of weekly email and further broadcasting that content across social media and digital trade show channels.
  • Assist with Social Media posts, bi-weekly digital newsletters, and email automations for sister company, inGENEius, a maker of high-end gift and souvenir items.

Requirements

  • Experience in digital community coordination or digital marketing.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with hand tools and their uses is a plus.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools is helpful but not required.
  • Familiarity with video editing software
  • Will entertain qualified applicants with or without degrees.
  • Position is in-person.

Pay & Benefits

  • $41,000 to $48,000 per year with quarterly performance bonus based on campaign effectiveness
