Financial Analyst: Mergers & Acquisitions

Key Capabilities and Responsibilities

Data Analysis and Interpretation

  • Extract, transform, and analyze companies' financial and operational data to identify valuable insights.
  • Identify patterns and trends within data.
  • Connect, discuss, and communicate data trends, identifying causal relationships to real-world events.

  • Ability to identify company and process challenges and contribute to elegant solutions.

Business Analysis and Financial Proficiency

  • Develop and demonstrate a foundational understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) as applied to business transactions.
  • Understand GAAP departures and their connection to returns on investment and key client issues.
  • Read, interpret, and relate contracts and documents to business needs and solutions.
  • Summarize and effectively communicate analytical findings and recommendations.

Professional Experience & Education

0-2 years of experience, with a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, information technology, data science, or a related field preferred.

Credentials

Completed coursework for CPA or CFA accreditation preferred.

Job Type

Full-time exempt with a base salary ranging from $67,500 to $77,500, depending on qualifications. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401k, short and long-term disability, life insurance, and more for full-time employees.
