Consumer Loan Officer Trainee

Join Our Team as a Full-Time Consumer Loan Officer Trainee (In-Office, Mon-Fri, 8:30 AM-5:30 PM). Starting Salary: $24.91-$26.65/hour, Depending on Qualifications and Experience. Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred (additional $1 per hour). This position includes the opportunity to earn performance-based bonuses that will build over time as you gain experience and meet performance milestones.

Qualifications:

• College degree strongly preferred
• At least two years of experience working directly with customers
• Strong verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor
• Demonstrated desire and ability to learn effective credit underwriting practices
• Must be willing to AUTHORIZE and PASS a criminal and credit background check

About the Role:
As a Consumer Loan Officer Trainee, you’ll be part of our comprehensive Management and Credit Officer development program. This full-time, in-office position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in all aspects of consumer lending and branch operations. You’ll play a vital role in helping customers access the credit they need, while learning and growing toward a future leadership position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional customer service and perform collection activities
• Investigate and process credit applications, working toward obtaining discretionary credit approvals
• Assist in the origination of direct consumer loans and the purchase of retail installment contracts
• Provide administrative and operational support to branch functions
• Participate in training and development as part of our career progression program
