Medical scribe/Medical, research and administrative assistant

This position is for a medical scribe/medical research and administrative assistant. It may include all of the following duties:

1. Medical Scribe: The employee will personally assist the physician, including but not limited to performing documentation in the electronic health records (EHR), gathering and entering the information during patients' visits and follow-ups, and partnering with the physician to assist him in delivering efficient patient care.

2. Administrative and Medical Assistant: All usual front desk/administrative duties, including, but not limited to, scheduling/receiving the patients, checking and entering their insurance details, getting prior authorizations, checking eligibility, collecting/arranging copayments and other patient dues, providing patients documentation to fill, pulling the charts, including the tests and referral information, and coordinating with referring offices, labs, and radiology services. Medical assistance entails supporting the physician provider with logistics for ambulatory surgical interventional procedures, including consenting, assisting with medications and equipment, and documentation.

3. Clinical Research Assistant to support our growing portfolio of clinical trials. The ideal candidate will assist with patient screening and enrollment, data collection, study documentation, and coordination of participant visits. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate research records, ensuring strict adherence to study protocols, preparing and organizing regulatory documents, and communicating professionally with participants, physicians, and study sponsors. We are looking for someone dependable, organized, comfortable working with patients, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment. Prior clinical or research experience is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate. Strong communication skills, computer proficiency, and a commitment to high-quality, ethical research are essential.

4. The employee may be assigned additional duties that arise occasionally.
