Digital Design Engineer (ICs)
IC Enable has an exciting opportunity for a junior IC Digital Design Engineer to join our diverse and growing team. As a part of our team, you will learn to optimize designs for performance, power, area and learn how to consistently make on-time deliveries meeting full quality product requirements. Digital circuit and physical design work will include training and accelerated on-the-job execution of Logic Synthesis, simulators, floorplanning, Place-and-Route, Clock-Tree-Synthesis, Timing Closure, Signal Integrity, Reliability, DFX(jtag, tap, bist, scan), Parasitic extraction, Layout and DRC/LVS.
At IC Enable we offer specialized technical training and on-the-job opportunities with extensive hands-on experience in digital and mixed signal design.
This position is best suited for a junior-mid level engineer who is hungry, humble and smart and is excited about growing his or her skillset in circuit design.
Job Location and Work Mode:
- Richardson, TX (Hybrid; In Office 3 Days A Week)
The best fit candidate for this position will have:
- Bachelors Degree or Higher (degree program must be completed) in Electrical Engineering
- Hands on experience through extensive coursework or through industry related internship
- Completed coursework in digital design, microprocessors, memory and programming
- Proficiency in PERL, Python, Synopsys, Cadence, and AI Agent Experience
- Excellent skill in problem solving
- Firm understanding of design techniques
- Strong verbal and written communication

- Efficiently deliver design work meeting project specifications
- Identifying quality and reliability improvements in IC circuit and layout design
- Supporting or performing design verification from sub-block up through top-level
- Collaborating effectively with team members
- Proactively looking for continuous improvement opportunities in the design flow, methodology, and best practices
