📍 Location: 120 E. Harris Ave, San Angelo, TX 76903
🕒 Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts 
💰 Salary: $55,000 – $80,000 (dependent upon experience)
🚚 Relocation: $5,000 (negotiable)

Job Summary

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality. The technologist collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic images that support quality patient care.

Essential Functions

• Performs MRI procedures according to established protocols, ensuring optimal image quality and safety.
• Prepares and positions patients appropriately for exams while explaining the procedure clearly.
• Operates MRI equipment and monitors patient condition during scans.
• Follows safety protocols for magnetic field exposure and contrast administration.
• Reviews images for quality and accuracy before submission to the radiologist.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.
• Provides compassionate patient care and demonstrates strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Assists with training and orientation of new staff or students as needed.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program.

Experience: New graduates accepted; prior MRI experience preferred.

Certification/Licensure:

• ARRT (R) and/or (MR) certification or eligibility required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtained within 90 days of hire.
