Café General Manager
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Café General Manager to oversee daily
operations, manage all café revenue streams (including events and the commissary kitchen),
and drive customer satisfaction. This role is accountable to the business owners and
responsible for leading a talented team, ensuring excellence in service, food quality, and overall
café performance. The ideal candidate will have a passion for community, café operations
experience, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to creating a positive café experience
for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Oversee all aspects of café operations, including staffing, inventory
management, and quality control, ensuring smooth and efficient daily functioning.
- Revenue Management: Manage and optimize all café revenue streams, including in-house
sales, events, and the commissary kitchen, identifying opportunities for growth and profitability.
- Staff Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative and
motivated work environment. Schedule shifts and ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Customer Service Excellence: Maintain high standards of customer service, addressing
customer inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance their experience.
- Menu Development: Collaborate with the beverage manager and chefs to create and update
the menu, ensuring a diverse selection of juices, smoothies, and bowls that align with our brand.
- Inventory Management: Help manage inventory levels for kitchen supplies and ingredients,
assisting with ordering and minimizing waste.
- Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, track expenses, and analyze sales data to drive
profitability while maintaining quality standards.
- Marketing and Community Engagement: Develop and implement marketing strategies to
promote the café, increase customer engagement, and build relationships within the community.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure that all health, safety, and sanitation regulations are followed, maintaining a clean and safe environment for staff and customers.
