About Saint Paul’s Classical School
Saint Paul’s Classical School, a ministry of Saint Paul’s Anglican Church, guides students to Christian virtue and wisdom through love of God and neighbor by studying the Western Tradition. We work, study, and worship so that students may know and love Christ and His Kingdom. Using the classical liberal arts, the Trivium and Quadrivium, we form thoughtful, free individuals whose hearts, minds, and souls are shaped to live faithfully in God’s world.
Position Overview
Saint Paul’s Classical School seeks a Latin Instructor beginning June 2026 to inspire a love of language and cultivate foundational Latin skills in young students. The instructor will implement our current Latin curriculum (Storybook Latin, Kraken Latin, & Henle Latin) across various age groups beginning in 3rd Grade.
Responsibilities
- Teach Latin using classical methods and a Christian worldview
- Foster curiosity, discipline, and a love for language and Western heritage.
- Partner with parents and colleagues to support student growth in knowledge and virtue.
- Participate in school life, including chapel, assemblies, and community events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Latin, Classics, Classical Languages, or a related field preferred.
- Prior teaching experience helpful but not required.
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
- Alignment with the mission and philosophy of Saint Paul’s Classical School.
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting salary: $60,000 (Nota bene: Florida has no state income tax)
