Direct Support Professional
Puzzle Peace Services is seeking compassionate and dependable individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). DSPs provide hands-on care and supervision for children and teens with developmental disabilities, helping them build independence, confidence, and life skills in a safe, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide supervision and direct support to individuals during daily activities.
Assist with personal care, hygiene, meals, and other daily living tasks.
Support participation in recreational, educational, and community-based activities.
Follow each client’s Individual Service Plan (ISP) and Behavior Support Plan.
Accurately complete daily documentation, progress notes, and incident reports.
Maintain a clean, safe, and positive environment.
Use appropriate de-escalation and crisis-management techniques when needed.
Participate in ongoing staff meetings and training sessions.
Minimum Requirements
Must be 18 years or older.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Must pass a background check
Ability to complete or already hold the following trainings/certifications:
CPR/First Aid
8-Hour DSP Training
