Responsibilities

• Assist with sterile culture of cells and tissues using proprietary methodologies.
• Perform histology, microscopy, and mechanical testing of fabricated tissue grafts.
• Fabrication and testing of novel tissue bioreactor systems.
• Work with the process development team on process automation.
• Maintain detailed reports of study findings including batch record forms and product tracking.
• Work in a fast-paced work environment and execute focused experiments within an established timeline.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biology, Biochemistry, or other related biomedical related science/engineering discipline.
• Minimum 1-2 years’ laboratory experience, either in an academic laboratory or a professional work setting
• Cell culture and/or tissue culture experience.
• Expertise performing molecular, biochemical, and cellular assays.
• Excellent organization and verbal and written technical communication skills with both scientific and non-scientific audiences.
• Demonstrated critical thinking capabilities and ability to think on your feet.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Scope

This will be a full-time position based in Manchester, NH that requires in-person laboratory activities. Due to the nature of biology, tissue manufacturing, and the energetic early-company pace, candidates should expect that off-hours and weekend work will be required at times.
