Electrical Resident Engineer/Inspector – Full-time hourly position.

Firm/Location – In-person at CR Engineers, Inc. / 16719 East Palisades Boulevard, Fountain Hills, AZ 85268. No relocation funds are available.
Experience – Minimum of 2 years of experience as an electrical engineer or inspector/ journeyman electrician, in the Industrial/Commercial/Aviation/Institutional Fields.
Specialized Knowledge Required - Must be knowledgeable in NFPA, NEC codes, and the "ways and means" of the construction industry.
Programs – Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) software is required.
Job Description – Coordinate and perform construction administration tasks internally & externally including the following: construction cost estimating; perform submittal reviews; meet with clients, contractors, and stakeholders; respond to Contractor Request for Information; perform electrical field inspections and Contractor quantity verifications; City required Special Electrical Inspections; witness testing and commissioning of electrical equipment, review Contractor pay applications and change order requests; perform final contractor as-built reviews and other tasks as required. This position may involve multiple overnight travel within the states of Arizona and Colorado, as well as possible nighttime work.
Employment offer contingent on passing a background check. You must have a valid driver's license. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
