Ad Tech Specialist - English/Spanish In-House
JOB TITLE: AD TECH SPECIALIST
OBJECTIVE
Manage and optimize video advertising operations across multiple platforms and programmatic exchanges. Ensure seamless campaign execution, maximize inventory yield, maintain compliance with technical and policy standards. Contribute to revenue growth through data driven strategies for CTV (connected TV) and digital video environments. Optimize fill rates, improve cost-per-mille (CPM) performance and develop strong relationships with distribution partners to expand monetization opportunities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Campaign Execution & Optimization: Oversee the setup, trafficking, and performance of video ad campaigns across various platforms and programmatic exchanges. Implement on going CPM optimization strategies to deliver greater output.
- Platform Management: Operate and manage Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs), Supply-Side Platforms (SSPs), and ad servers including Google Ad Manager, FreeWheel and Innovid. Ensure accurate implementation of tags.
- Inventory Strategy: Manage and forecast video ad inventory to maintain optimal fill rates and yield while preserving user experience. Conduct ongoing fill rate optimization identifying opportunities to deliver higher output.
- Measurement & Reporting: Collect, analyze and interpret campaign performance data using metrics like viewability, completion rate, CPM and CTR to provide insights and reports for clients and management.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure ads comply with technical specifications (VAST/VPAID standards), platform policies, privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and brand safety requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales, creative, analytics, and engineering teams to deliver seamless ad experiences, troubleshoot technical issues and support business objectives.
- Innovation & Trend Analysis: Monitor trends in CTV monetization, AI -driven ad targeting and personalization and cross-platform attribution.
- Partner Management: Manage existing distribution partners, maintaining regular communication to ensure performance. Oversee the onboarding process for new distribution partners ensuring seamless technical integration and operation readiness.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written)
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish
- Experience in digital video advertising operations, preferably with CTV
- Strong understanding of digital ad campaigns, ad servers and data management platforms
- Proficiency in video ad tagging and trafficking technologies (VAST, VPAID, HTML5, pixel implementation, SDKs)
- Knowledge of privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and their implications for digital advertising.
- Analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent organizational, communication and project management skills.
- Able to adapt to rapidly changing technology
- Able to meet deadlines
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE
- BA in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Data Analytics or related field
- 2 - 3 years experience in operations, digital marketing, or programmatic video advertising.
- Certifications (Preferred):
- IAB Digital Video Certification
- Google Ads Video Certification, Display & Video 360 (DV360)
- The Trade Desk Edge Academy Certification (Programmatic Advertising)
- Meta Blueprint Certification (for Facebook/Instagram Video Ads)
- YouTube Ads Certification
- Platform specific training in FreeWheel, Innovid and Extreme Reach
- Valuable Skills/Courses:
- Data Analytics & Visualization (MOAT, DoubleVerify, Tableau, Excel, Google Analytics)
