Social Media Intern
Skills
Strong understanding of major social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn)
Basic design skills using Canva or Adobe Express
Excellent written communication and grammar
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines
Familiarity with scheduling tools (Meta Business Suite and GHL)
Basic understanding of social analytics and engagement metrics
Willingness to learn new tools and marketing systems (training provided)
Bonus: basic video editing (Reels/TikTok), content repurposing, or analytics reporting
Minimum Requirements
Current college student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field
Available 10–15 hours per week (remote)
Reliable communication and ability to meet deadlines
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Demonstrated interest in social media, content creation, or digital marketing
Expected Responsibilities
Assist the Social Media Manager in creating, scheduling, and publishing content across client and agency accounts
Help maintain the weekly content calendar and ensure posts align with each brand’s strategy and tone
Design simple on-brand graphics and captions for approval
Monitor comments and engagement; flag messages or trends for review
Pull weekly metrics and assist in preparing short performance summaries
Support basic video clipping, editing, and captioning tasks as needed
Collaborate with the design and copy teams to repurpose content for social use
Serve as a reliable backup when the Social Media Manager is out of office (vacation, illness, etc.)
Participate in weekly check-ins or strategy sessions with the social team
Growth Path:
This is a paid internship (based on level of experience) with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role based on performance, initiative, and creative contribution as the agency expands.
