Interested in gaining hands-on experience in wastewater treatment? NEW Water, the brand of the Green Bay Metropolitan Sewerage District, is seeking a Treatment Intern to support daily operations of our wastewater treatment process and learn from industry professionals.

Details about the position:

NEW Water is looking for a Treatment Intern who will be responsible for assisting operations staff in troubleshooting equipment and process issues, perform rounds on various equipment and processes while processing data spreadsheets to monitor their operation, and collect samples throughout the wastewater treatment process.

Approximate start date for this position is May 2026 or when schedule permits. This can be a year-round position with part-time hours during the academic year and full-time hours during the summer. 

Hiring Range: $17.82 - $20.35 per hour

Full Salary Range: $17.82 - $25.16 per hour

Education Requirements:

  • High School Education or equivalent
  • Candidate must be working towards an associate or bachelor's degree in Environmental science, waste management, wastewater treatment, or a related field.
