Regional Admissions Advisor Pennsylvania (P/T - 20hrs/week)

Office of Undergraduate Admissions & Recruitment is looking to hire two regional recruiters/admissions advisors in Pennsylvania. The Admissions Advisor will report to the Assistant Director of Admissions and Recruitment. The PT Admissions Advisor will be responsible for the following duties and other enrollment related processes.

• Maintain a working knowledge of all Hunter College programs and opportunities and be able to relay this information to prospective students and families in a friendly and coherent manner.
• Assist in recruiting prospective students and families by representing Hunter College at both on and off campus events in the Lehigh County, Philadelphia, Slatington, PA areas
• Conduct  information sessions

• Seek and retain knowledge of best industry practices in undergraduate admissions and
recruitment and apply this knowledge to everyday duties.
• Other duties as assigned
• Evening /weekend hours may be needed.
• Develop fluency and effectively execute all admission operations procedures including.
application processing and review, New York State residency review, transfer credit evaluation.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree required.
Valid Driver's License required.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, etc. and ability to learn and adapt to new technology quickly.
• Research and analytical skills are required in order to conduct demographic, geographic and historical research, as it pertains to Hunter College's applicant trends within assigned territory
and market.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and be a proactive member of the admissions
team.
• Flexibility and resourcefulness working in a fast‐paced environment.
