Human Resources Intern

Title: Human Resources Intern
Location: Clayton, Missouri (STL area) June - August term

Salary: $23.00 / hour for undergraduate students; $33.00 / hour for graduate students
Housing Stipend Available

Focus: The Human Resources Intern will work with Human Resources Business Partners on key initiatives and organizational success. This will support performance management, recruitment activities, total rewards, and other operations.

Human Resources Intern Essential Job Functions:

·         Support full-cycle recruitment process, onboarding, performance management, talent review processes, organizational capability evaluation, and development planning

·         Use applicant tracking system for requisition and candidate management in compliance with internal guidelines and established processes

·         Routine responsibilities including interview scheduling, meetings with HRBPs and Hiring Managers, extracting and building key metrics and reporting, cycling documentation for appropriate retention

·         May support compensation and benefits strategy, data analysis, and other related projects as assigned

·         May support labor relations efforts including documentation, contract review, and supporting employee relations initiatives

Human Resources Intern Minimum Requirements:

·         Enrolled or pending admission at an accredited college or university majoring in an undergraduate or graduate Human Resources, Marketing, or business-related degree program. Students pending graduate enrollment must have completed an undergraduate degree* in Human Resources, Marketing, or business-related major. Preference given to students located within 50 miles of the assigned Olin location.

·         Must have an overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale at all times throughout your time at Olin. An official transcript will be required each term. Cumulative GPA on current institution transcript will be used in transfer college situations.

·         Must have completed sophomore year prior to first rotation with Olin

·         Ability to work full-time during normal business hours (40 hours / week) during the rotation. Not eligible for virtual work.

·         Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without the requirement of a work/student visa

·         A Valid US Driver's license is required
