Operations & Growth Manager
About the job
About FutureLot
FutureLot is an AI-powered proptech startup that helps people instantly understand what can be built on any property. From homeowners to builders, we make zoning clear, actionable, and visual—so it’s easier to build housing, faster.
FutureLot recently completed its first investment round and is entering a strong growth phase. We’re operating in one of the fastest-growing segments of proptech, helping unlock the massive potential of underused residential land through data and AI. As housing rules evolve nationwide, the demand for tools that make zoning clear and buildable is accelerating, and we’re well positioned to lead that transformation.
We’re a small, fast-moving team using data and AI to unlock housing potential across the country. Our mission: make it simple for anyone to build smarter, faster, and with confidence.
The Role
We’re hiring a hands-on Operations & Growth Manager to serve as the right hand to our co-founder, Avi. You’ll sit at the intersection of operations, zoning, product, and marketing—helping projects move forward, maintaining quality, and keeping our growing startup running smoothly.
This is part project manager, part analyst, part builder. You’ll coordinate across teams, but you’ll also get into the details yourself: unpacking zoning rules, troubleshooting a customer issue, updating a dashboard, or refining a workflow.
If you’re a resourceful, analytical, organized, tech-savvy generalist who is able to learn new things fast and figure things out, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
- Keep cross-functional projects on track across zoning, product, and customer success.
- Review zoning bylaws and translate their implications for the product.
- Coordinate the zoning team—QA data, track accuracy, and help expand coverage.
- Manage CRM and track sales pipeline activity, leads, and trial usage.
- Coordinate marketing content and maintain dashboards for traffic, leads, and campaigns.
- Onboard new customers and provide responsive, friendly support.
- Maintain internal documentation, checklists, and reports to keep the company organized.
- Work directly with the founders to identify issues, propose solutions, and execute improvements.
You’ll Thrive Here If You
- Communicate clearly (written and verbal), think systematically, enjoy solving complex problems, and getting things done.
- Have a debate-team mindset. You like to reason through tradeoffs, test assumptions, and back your decisions with evidence.
- Learn technical and legal material quickly (e.g., zoning rules, spreadsheets, AI prompts, online tools).
- Are comfortable figuring things out—from formulas in Sheets to quick automation scripts.
- Are proactive and highly organized; you see what needs doing and take initiative.
- Enjoy variety and can switch between detail work and big-picture coordination.
- Have 2–5 years of experience in startup operations, marketing ops, or product coordination.
- Bonus: interest or background in housing, urban planning, or real estate.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Work directly with the founders. Real ownership, fast feedback, visible impact.
- Learn how an AI-driven startup operates from the inside.
- Be trusted with meaningful responsibility early; see your work shape real products.
- Lots of autonomy, collaboration, and learning.
- We’re small enough that your ideas shape the company’s direction and make housing easier to build.
