Part-Time Early Childhood Teacher

Linworth Children's Center is currently looking to hire a new part-time teacher for our child care center. This would be a ‘float’ position that would give you the opportunity to interact with a variety of classrooms and ages. This role provides a loving environment supporting the emotional and physical development of our young children.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Communicating and connecting with parents daily
• Helping facilitate activities and crafts for the classroom
• Assisting with lesson planning
• Keeping the classroom clean and safe by following all procedures and guidelines
• Day to day operations of the classroom such as diaper changes, feedings, nap time, and mealtime

Professional Development:
Stay informed about current best practices in early childhood education.
Attend required workshops and training sessions to enhance professional knowledge and skills.

Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with other early childhood educators and staff to create a cohesive and supportive team environment.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall success of LCC

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma
• Previous experience working with infants in a childcare or educational setting.
• Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching methods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Patience, adaptability, and a genuine love for working with children.

SCHEDULE:

 Center hours are Mon - Fri, 7am - 6pm. 

This position is for the hours of 12pm - 6pm
