Camp Counselor/Activity Instructor
About the Role
Serve as a mentor, teacher, and leader for boys ages 6–16. Counselors live in cabins, teach activities, and help create a fun, safe, Christ-centered camp community.
Responsibilities
Lead and teach 1–2 assigned activities (ex: climbing, mountain biking, archery, swimming, crafts).
Build relationships with campers; supervise cabin life, routines, and safety.
Support evening programs, tribe competitions, and special events.
Encourage growth in character: courage, humility, grit, empathy.
Maintain safe program areas and equipment.
Qualifications
Follower of Christ; desire to mentor and serve youth.
Age 18+ and post-freshman year preferred.
Team-oriented, energetic, flexible; activity skills a plus (training provided).
