Tulip City United Soccer Club

Tulip City United Soccer Club is a grassroots non-profit organization driven to bring together the people of Holland, Michigan in one place over the shared love of soccer and city, showcasing the best regional talent at a high level of play.  TCUSC fields a minor league amateur men's team competing in the Midwest Premier League, and starting in 2026 a women's team in the UWL.

Position:  Operations Intern

Reports to: Operations Board Member

Wage: Credit Earning / Volunteer

Approved: TBD by Board of Directors

Responsibilities

1. Assist in recruiting and oversee necessary volunteers to perform game day tasks identified in the ‘Game Day To-Do List.’
2. Recruit and support the TCU supporter group, including drummers, to assist with game day atmosphere.  Distribute TCU chants at the gate and on the TCU website.
3. Prepare game-day schedule/script to ensure timely kickoff.
4. Prepare pregame, halftime, and postgame music playlists.
5. Assist in creating and manage fun halftime activities
6. Ensure merchandise is displayed for sale prior to, during, and after the game.
7. Prepare cash boxes and Venmo QR codes for ticket sales and merchandise sales. Return cash boxes at the end of the game to the General Manager.
8. Direct officials, food trucks, and opposing team to their respective areas.
9. Ensure Tulip City United and sponsor signs are appropriately displayed a minimum of 30 minutes before kick-off. 
10. Working with Public Relations Inter to ensure Tulip City United website has rosters updated 30 minutes before kick-off.
11. Other duties as assigned.
