Mental Health Professional

Responsibilities
- Maintain assigned billable hours per week through direct client services.
- Participate in collaborative meetings with Rehabilitation Services staff, other agencies, and community or natural supports as needed.
- Provide mental health counseling to both children and adults, utilizing evidence-based, strength-based, and solution-focused approaches.
- Deliver client-centered therapeutic services in home and community-based settings.
- Complete timely and accurate documentation of services provided in accordance with clinical standards and office deadlines.
- Utilize computer systems for documentation and billing purposes, with training provided as needed.
- Attend supervision meetings, trainings, and case management/staffing meetings as scheduled by a Licensed Mental Health Professional.
- Respond promptly to phone calls and emails related to client care and team communication.
- Follow all organizational safety protocols and procedures.
- Obtain required continuing education hours as mandated by the appropriate licensing board.
- Actively participate in evaluations conducted by Rehabilitation Services.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the mission of the organization.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited university or college in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Sociology.
- Current licensure as PLPC, PLMFT, LMSW, or CSW.
- Knowledge of child and adult mental health counseling practices.
- Ability to provide strength-based, solution-focused, and client-centered therapeutic services.
- Willingness to learn and utilize computer-based documentation systems.
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards.
