English Teacher - Secondary

Founded in 1864, The Peddie School is an independent, coeducational, college-preparatory school for students in grades 9 through post-graduate. With a beautiful campus in Hightstown, NJ, and a distinguished history dating back to 1864, the school prides itself on a curriculum that balances tradition with innovation in a genuinely supportive community atmosphere. 

The Peddie School seeks an English teacher for the 2026-2027 academic year. 

Preferred candidates for this English position will have an advanced degree in English, teaching experience, excellent writing skills, and a strong academic record. The position is likely to require other responsibilities within a boarding school community, including coaching and residential life. 

The salary range for this position is $44,000 to $85,000 depending upon the experience level of the candidate.
