Job Description

As a Corporate Strategy Analyst, you'll play a key role in shaping Planet Networks’ growth, operational efficiency, and long-term strategic direction. This role sits at the intersection of data analytics, business operations, and executive strategy. This is a highly cross-functional role, as you'll need to collaborate with teams in sales, construction, finance, customer success, and engineering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working with the digital infrastructure deployment team to design fiber-optic routes, identify issues, and develop an execution plan.
  • Assisting with territory planning and with the development of strategic, competitive, and product analyses. Conduct market research and analysis.
  • Interpret and analyze complex data to derive key insights and report on KPIs. Verifies the quality, accuracy, and reasonableness of the data. Displays, organizes, and crafts data into a compelling storyline with actionable insight.
  • Help create and execute on our M&A pipeline.
  • Contribute to creating and sharing competitive intelligence findings and conclusions with senior management, including presentations, white papers, case studies, etc.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Skills Qualifications

Core skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • Excellent problem-solving, modeling, and data-storytelling skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate technical results to non-technical stakeholders
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, strong multi-tasking and time management skills
  • Self-starter comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with open-ended goals
  • Willingness and ability to learn quickly

Preferred skills and qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, Excel, or BI tools
  • Familiarity with mapping and GIS systems
  • Prior experience in strategy, consulting, analytics, or corporate development
  • Prior experience in the telecom industry
