About the Role

Walmart Central Fill Pharmacy is a state-of-the-art facility that processes and dispenses prescriptions for multiple retail pharmacy locations across the region.
Unlike a traditional retail pharmacy, our Central Fill model is focused on automation, safety, and speed—helping local pharmacists spend more time providing clinical care and education to their patients.

We’re hiring Certified Pharmacy Technicians to join our brand-new Central Fill Pharmacy in Litchfield Park, AZ. As part of our high-performing team, you’ll help ensure every prescription is filled accurately, safely, and efficiently using advanced technology and automation systems.

Pay and Shifts

• Starting Pay: $21.00/hr. – $23.00/hr. (based on experience)
• Shift Differential: +$2.00/hr. (2nd shift) 
• Schedule: 4 days per week / 40 hours total
• Workdays: 7-day operation – schedules are set based on production needs
• Available shifts:
  1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  2nd Shift: 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM

What You’ll Do

• Fill and package prescriptions using automated systems under pharmacist supervision.
• Verify medication strength, quantity, and lot information for accuracy and compliance.
• Operate and troubleshoot automation equipment such as counting machines and pill cells.
• Maintain inventory by organizing, restocking, and rotating pharmaceutical products.
• Handle documentation and reporting related to inventory control, audits, and compliance.
• Assist with recall and expiration tracking to ensure pharmaceutical integrity.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and team members to meet daily production and quality goals.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.

What You’ll Need

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Active Registration with the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy.
• National Certification (PTCB or NHA) required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
