Civil Engineer, Entry Level
Burgess & Niple is seeking an entry level Civil Engineer to join our New Braunfels, TX office. This position provides the opportunity to work as part of a design team and collaborate with some of the top experts in the industry.
B&N entry level Civil Engineer Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Professional Engineers and Design staff
- Assist the community you live in or serve by providing professional services to enhance the economy and quality of life
- Participate in delivering projects related to planning, water, wastewater, drainage and roadway design, feasibility/cost opinions and final civil construction plan design
- Learn and develop your skills creating bid/contract documents
- Thrive in an organization that constantly adapts and evolves with client needs
- Interact with clients, governing agencies, and the public, and don’t mind occasional construction administration duties and field/site visits
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET accredited civil engineering program
- EI/EIT certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
- 0-2 years of related experience
- Software experience with Microsoft Office (especially Microsoft Excel) and AutoCAD Civil3D
- Excellent communication skills and detail oriented
