About the Role

Walmart Central Fill Pharmacy is a state-of-the-art facility that processes and dispenses prescriptions for multiple retail pharmacy locations in the region. Unlike a traditional retail pharmacy, our Central Fill is powered by automation—allowing prescriptions to be filled quickly and accurately while helping local pharmacists spend more time with their patients.

We’re looking for Pharmacy Technicians in Training to join our new Central Fill Pharmacy in Litchfield Park, AZ! No prior pharmacy experience is required—just bring your attention to detail, reliability, and willingness to learn.

As part of our Pharmacy Technician Trainee Program, you’ll gain hands-on experience and have the opportunity to become a Registered or Certified Pharmacy Technician.

Pay and Shifts

• Starting Pay: $18.00/hr
• Shift Differential: +$2.00/hr (2nd shift) | +$3.00/hr (3rd shift)
• Schedule: 4 days per week / 40 hours total
• Workdays: 7-day operation – schedules set based on production needs
• Available shifts:
  1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  2nd Shift: 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM

What You’ll Do

• Fill, label, and package prescriptions in an automated environment.
• Use scanners and pharmacy systems to verify and track medications.
• Manage medication inventory—receiving, stocking, and rotating supplies.
• Report discrepancies, expired stock, or quality issues.
• Support the pharmacist by maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with all regulations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Move, lift, or carry merchandise and supplies up to 50 lbs.

What You’ll Need

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No prior experience needed – full training provided!
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment.
• Commitment to safety, accuracy, and teamwork.
