Marine Corps Officer Programs
Marine Corps Officer Programs afford college students and graduates an opportunity to earn a presidential commission through a challenging leadership at Officer Candidate School (OCS) in Quantico, Virginia. At OCS, you will have learned that desire, coupled with the right leadership and management tools, makes for a powerful leader. From these skills you will develop your own leadership style and adapt it to best suit each mission and the needs of the personnel in which you lead.
Undergraduate men and women (freshmen, sophomores and juniors) enroll in the Platoon Leaders Class (PLC) while seniors and graduates enroll in Officer Candidates Course (OCC). The PLC and OCC programs are designed to screen and evaluate candidates for the leadership, physical, mental and moral attributes necessary for service as Marine Officers. This is a, non-committal, competitive program and applicants must be selected by a board.
Career position include but are not limited to: intelligence, communications, military police, logistics, engineering, financial management, public affairs, supply chain management, administration, aviation (intelligence, pilot, maintenance,, supply, & air control) and law.
