Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist physical therapists in providing high-quality patient care. This role is crucial in helping patients recover from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions through rehabilitation exercises and therapies.
Responsibilities
- Assist physical therapists in preparing treatment areas and equipment for patient sessions.
- Help patients with exercises and mobility tasks as directed by the physical therapist.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the clinic or hospital environment.
- Document patient progress and report any changes to the supervising therapist.
- Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and rehabilitation practices.
- Ensure all equipment is sanitized and in good working condition after each use.
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
Qualifications
- MUST be a team player with a warm and friendly personality who can take directions, multitask, and be fast on their feet
- MUST be bilingual SPANISH-ENGLISH.
- Previous experience in a clinical or hospital setting is advantageous but not mandatory. We will train the right candidate.
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- A commitment to providing excellent patient care with empathy and professionalism.
