Job Title: Outpatient Orthopedic & Sports Physical Therapy Assistant at Elite Physical Therapy
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic and sports rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will assist in delivering high-quality care for patients of all ages, focusing on musculoskeletal conditions and sports-related injuries. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting patients' recovery and rehabilitation under the supervision of licensed physical therapists.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans as directed by Physical Therapists
• Perform therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assist with manual therapy techniques
• Observe and monitor patient progress, reporting changes and concerns to the Physical Therapist
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation exercises and techniques for at-home care
• Document patient progress and treatment details in compliance with healthcare regulations
• Maintain clean and organized treatment areas and assist in clinic operations
• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide the best care for each patient
Qualifications:
• Associate degree an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant (Required)
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic interventions for musculoskeletal rehabilitation
• Prior experience in an outpatient orthopedic or sports rehabilitation setting is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and patient care excellence
Compensation & Benefits:
• Pay: Competitive hourly rate
• Expected Hours: 20 – 40 hours per week
