Sales & Marketing Internship – Technical Focus

The Sales & Marketing Intern will support the LEM Sales and Marketing teams in the Americas. This 6-month internship is based in Milwaukee, WI (preferred) or remote, with the potential for a full-time position upon successful completion. The intern will assist with customer engagement, data analysis, sales operations, and marketing initiatives, working closely with Regional Sales Managers and reporting to the Sales Director Industry.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in managing customer accounts and updating CRM (MS Dynamics).
  • Support lead qualification and help maintain sales pipeline data.
  • Help prepare customer quotations and assist in sales reporting.
  • Analyze distributor point-of-sale (POS) data and generate insights.
  • Assist with rep commission tracking and KPI reporting.
  • Support order and invoice reporting processes.
  • Respond to customer requests for documentation and compliance surveys.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflow and customer experience.
  • Participate in forecast updates and supply chain communications.
  • Contribute to marketing initiatives and customer engagement strategies.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a college/university program in Sales, Marketing, Business, or Communications.
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude or curiosity—experience or coursework in engineering or electronics is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with data.
  • Proficient in Excel and familiar with CRM or ERP systems (MS Dynamics is a plus).
  • Team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Fluent in Spanish is a plus.
