SUMMARY
GSE is seeking an eager staff engineer to help in our Structural department. The Structural engineer(s) will be responsible for assisting with structural design, forensic evaluations, and threshold inspections.
 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Structural analysis and design for projects across North Central Florida
• Prepare construction plans for buildings and other transportation-related structures
• Develop contract documents such as plans and specifications
• Perform forensic evaluations across North Central Florida for residential and commercial structures
• Perform threshold inspections
• Attend field meetings and prepare reports
• Work with a Professional Engineer (PE)
 

QUALIFICATIONS
• 0-3 years experience working in Structural Engineering field
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
• Engineering Intern (EI) certification or ability to acquire within 6 months
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or REVIT
• Interpersonal skills to meet and communicate effectively with employees, managers, contractors and clients
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
