The Opportunity
We’re looking for a hands-on Associate Manager to support our Site Managers at one of our distribution centers. This entry-level management role combines leadership with hands-on work—overseeing labor, transportation, customer service, and maintenance while also working alongside the team.
Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience and location.
What You’ll Do
- Lead daily activities: product placement, scheduling, loading/unloading, yard organization
- Manage receiving, quality checks, and accurate inventory records
- Oversee truck driver operations (hiring, training, DOT/safety compliance)
- Maintain trucks, equipment, and site facilities
- Direct horticultural care of nursery stock (fertilization, irrigation, pest control)
- Deliver excellent customer service personally and through your team
- Train and develop employees, ensuring a safe and professional environment
- Assist in all aspects of site operations as needed
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of horticulture, landscape, wholesale, or retail experience OR a related degree
- Strong leadership, organization, and planning skills
- Team player who can also work independently
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, seasonal environment
- Physically able to lift 50 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license
- * Preference given to candidates with a CDL license.

Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- Weekends as needed during peak seasons
