Mentor for Project-Based Learning
Aispire is launching a new after-school program for students in grades 5–8 designed around purpose finding and Project-Based Learning (PBL). Our goal is to help students discover their passions, think creatively, and connect learning to real life — guided by mentors who care deeply about inspiring the next generation.
We’re seeking motivated college students (bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral) who are passionate about education, mentorship, and creativity. You’ll work with small groups of middle school students (2–6 per group) over several weeks to guide them through real-world projects that spark curiosity and confidence.
What You’ll Do
- Mentor or co-design hands-on projects with real-world impact
- Guide students through the project flow: Discover → Create → Reflect → Showcase
- Encourage curiosity, collaboration, and purpose-driven learning
- Draw on your own field, hobbies, or interests to create engaging projects (e.g., AI, art, social impact, sustainability, storytelling, entrepreneurship, or technology)
Examples of Projects
- AI for Kids: Train a chatbot to solve a real-world problem
- Community Story Project: Capture and share local voices through design and media
- Eco Design Challenge: Rethink daily items for a sustainable world
- Mini Business Pitch: Develop and present a simple venture idea
