Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis
The Analyst, FP&A will participate heavily in the cash forecasting, reforecasting and annual budgeting processes that involve planning, supporting budgeting and forecasting tools, determining financial goals and related guidance, communicating with field teams, and reporting on results to field teams and senior management. The FP&A team operates in a time sensitive and critical output environment therefore attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure and produce ad hoc analyses is critical.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the cash forecasting, reforecasting and budgeting process and participate in various workstreams to assist monthly, quarterly and yearly to finalize these processes.
Work comfortably with large quantities of data and master the ability to analyze and audit results as well as provide detailed variance commentary between data sets.
Build and maintain financial models and run company/fund/portfolio-level analytics on an ongoing and ad-hoc basis.
Work closely with the teams across the organization to ensure cross-unit collaboration that support FP&A forecasting efforts.
Understand the budgeting and forecasting systems process and play an important role in assisting the FP&A team with training during these processes.
Provide support for software and application testing, documentation, roll out, communication and assist in project management for applications that support FP&A’s forecasting process and reporting.
Partner with the Technology department on troubleshooting issues with current applications and future initiatives.
Develop value add tools and assist in system and process improvement projects as needed.
Understand and master a multitude of financial systems and processes to provide support and training as needed.
Perform special ad hoc projects and analysis on a frequent basis.
Document and update FP&A workstreams.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1-3 years of work experience in Accounting or Finance within the commercial real estate industry. Experience working at a publicly traded real estate or financial services firm is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, or Finance required.
A strong work ethic, with an ability to work in a dynamic and demanding work environment to meet critical deadlines.
Intelligence, with a keen focus on details.
Strong accounting and finance knowledge.
Exceptional analytical skills with a deep knowledge of and mastery of Office 365, especially Excel & PowerPoint.
Prior experience with real estate budgeting/forecasting processes and systems such as Argus Enterprise or Yardi Forecast Manager.
PowerBi, Oracle, SQL or another relational database applications a plus.
Possess broad understanding of computer concepts and related business application needs.
Familiarity with data warehouses, data lakes, snowflake.
Excellent oral and written communication skills due to interaction with personnel at all levels.
Knowledge of REIT performance metrics and reporting preferred.
$95,000 - $100,000 represents the presently anticipated base compensation pay range for this position at Link. Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
