Civil Structural Engineer

We are seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to support one of our major automotive OEM clients, Toyota, located in Georgetown, KY. This is a W2 contract position. Please find the detailed position description below.

 

Responsibilities of the project engineer include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Create and maintain North American building standards/specifications .
  • Support North American "Subject Matter Expert " related to mechanical, electrical, civil and architectural systems.
  • Work with outside firms to complete Company standards for building systems.
  • Manage multiple standards simultaneously to ensure quick completion.
  • Investigate building industry trends, global company trends, and current/past building issues. Utilizing that knowledge, introduce innovation and improvements for North American systems.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineer
  • 5 + Experience in industrial building design & implementation .
  • 5+ Experience in industrial buildings and building related systems .
  • Deep knowledge of building design standards and specifications.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office. Proficiency in AutoCAD, BluBeam, or other PDF editing software.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, BluBeam, or other PDF editing software.

ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Professional Engineering License (PE)
  • Project Management experience
