Position Summary

The Quality Inspector is responsible for monitoring and evaluating the quality of materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with company standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines. This role plays a key part in maintaining product integrity, reducing defects, and supporting continuous improvement within the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

· Perform inspections on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products according to established procedures and specifications.

· Use measuring instruments and testing equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMMs) to verify dimensions and product quality.

· Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records in quality systems or databases.

· Identify and report nonconformities, defects, or deviations from standards, and assist in root cause analysis.

· Work with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective/preventive actions.

· Follow established safety procedures and promote a safe work environment.

· Support internal and external audits when required.

· Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.

Qualifications & Skill

· College graduated and holds OPT

· 1–3 years of quality inspection or manufacturing experience (preferred but not required)

· Knowledge of quality standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or industry-specific standards) a plus.

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

· Proficiency with precision measuring tools and inspection equipment.

· Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

· Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, quality management systems).

· Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to [insert weight, e.g., 30 lbs] for extended periods.

Visual acuity to detect product defects and perform detailed inspections.

Work Environment

Manufacturing plant environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and moving equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50K-$55K a year

Expected hours: 40 per week
