Part-Time Floating Teacher

Commonwealth Children’s Center in Boston is seeking a Part-Time Floating Teacher to support our infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms. The ideal candidate is dependable, flexible, and passionate about early childhood education, with strong communication, teamwork, and multitasking skills. Responsibilities include assisting lead teachers with daily routines and activities, engaging children in play and learning, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment, and maintaining classroom organization. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, able to pass a background check, and preferably have experience or coursework in early childhood education, psychology, or a related field. This position offers flexible scheduling around classes (10–25 hours per week) and hands-on experience in a supportive, play-based learning setting.
