Description of Internship
We are seeking a Marketing and Sales Intern to support Nicado Publishing’s advertising and sponsorship development efforts. The intern will play a key role in identifying potential advertisers and sponsors, assisting in outreach, and supporting marketing initiatives for Negocios Now, El Chicago Hispano, and our special events.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential advertisers and sponsors across key markets.
- Assist in preparing presentations, proposals, and marketing materials.
- Support outreach campaigns through email, phone, and social media.
- Maintain and update the company’s CRM or contact database.
- Help coordinate event-related sponsorship communications.
- Contribute creative ideas for advertising and promotional strategies.
Qualifications
- Current college student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Interest in media, advertising, and the Hispanic market.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
