Position Title: Marketing and Sales Intern

Location: Flexible - hybrid or remote negotiable

Fixed Pay Per Semester: $4500

Hours: 15 hours per week 

Start & End Date: January 20, 2026 - May 15, 2026

Experience Level: Entry Level (Undergraduate and Graduate Students eligible)

Nicado Publishing Company is the parent company of Negocios Now and El Chicago Hispano, award-winning publications dedicated to highlighting the Hispanic business community and serving as a bridge between companies and Latino audiences. We also organize high-profile events, such as the Who’s Who in Hispanic Business Gala and Latinos 40 Under 40, a nationwide initiative recognizing young Latino leaders.

Description of Internship

We are seeking a Marketing and Sales Intern to support Nicado Publishing’s advertising and sponsorship development efforts. The intern will play a key role in identifying potential advertisers and sponsors, assisting in outreach, and supporting marketing initiatives for Negocios Now, El Chicago Hispano, and our special events.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Research and identify potential advertisers and sponsors across key markets.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, proposals, and marketing materials.
  • Support outreach campaigns through email, phone, and social media.
  • Maintain and update the company’s CRM or contact database.
  • Help coordinate event-related sponsorship communications.
  • Contribute creative ideas for advertising and promotional strategies.

Qualifications 

  • Current college student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Interest in media, advertising, and the Hispanic market.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
