Bostwick Lake Congregational United Church of Christ is seeking a passionate and proficient pianist to lead and enrich our worship services through music. Rooted in an inclusive vision—“No matter where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here”—our congregation values traditional hymns alongside gospel, jazz, blues, and contemporary praise styles.

Position Overview:

· Lead Sunday morning worship and special services

· Collaborate with the pastor and Worship Team to plan musical selections

· Coordinate vocalists and instrumentalists for solos and ensembles

· Encourage participation across all ages and musical backgrounds

· Additional paid opportunities available (e.g., weddings and funerals)

Qualifications:

· Proficient pianist (degree in music preferred)

· Professional, communicative, and organized

· Open to exploring diverse worship music genres

· Experience in choral/instrumental conducting and organ playing a plus

· Committed to fostering a welcoming, diverse music program

Details:

· Part-time, primarily Sunday mornings

· Compensation based on experience and scope of responsibilities
