Forest Stewardship & Monitoring Crews

Wallowa Resources is seeking individuals interested in
joining one of our seasonal crews based out of Wallowa
County, OR, with travel and camping across Northeast Oregon for Project work. 

Forest Stewardship Crew: Crew members will gain
experience and training in a variety of forestry and natural
resource projects to promote forest and watershed health,
such as timber sales preparation and defensible space work.

Forest Monitoring Crew: Crew members will gain experience
and training in forest and grassland monitoring techniques
that measure ecological conditions before and after
restoration projects.
 

Desired Experience:

• Interest in pursuing a career in natural resources and/or
  forestry
• Good communicator with the ability to work on a team
• Willing to work in all types of weather and terrain
• Has valid driver’s license with at least two years of
  driving under that license and can drive 4WD vehicles.
