Content Marketing Intern

Content Marketing Intern – Paid Internship (NYC / Hybrid)

Immediate offer — official start January 12, 2026

Start: January 12, 2026 (light onboarding and setup begin upon acceptance)
Location: New York, NY — Hybrid (occasional in-office collaboration)
Hours: 8–10 hours/week 
Duration: 10 weeks (option to extend through the semester)

 

About the Role

If you thrive on taking content from concept → draft → published → performance report, you’ll fit in here. 

We want someone who can drive tasks through to completion, think creatively, and refuse to get stuck. You push projects forward, ask smart questions, and don’t wait around when something stalls

You will:

  • Participate in brainstorming and strategy sessions — bring ideas, not just edits.
  • Connect creativity to business outcomes 
  • See direct impact and visibility with leadership

You’ll work directly with the person overseeing Marketing and collaborate with multiple departments, business development, compliance, and operations. Expect real feedback, real impact, and real autonomy, with appropriate training and supervision as you take on ownership of tasks.

We are looking for someone who can drive impact and think out of the box.

The Internship:

Content Creation & Drafting

  • Support content tied to lead generation and business development
  • Collaborate on building and managing the monthly content calendar (LinkedIn, Instagram, Reddit).
  • Draft, edit, and repurpose content for:
    • Website blog articles
    • Email and LinkedIn newsletters 
    • Social channels (short-form video, graphics, carousel posts, etc.)
  • Design visuals and infographics in Canva.
  • Draft interview questions/scripts and assist with filming leadership.

Social Media & Distribution

  • Schedule posts and keep content moving using calendaring platforms.
  • Track engagement, analyze performance, and extract insights.
  • Identify trending topics and relevant communities for visibility.
  • Engage professionally in relevant online communities (when appropriate).

Analytics & Research

  • Build bi-weekly reports with insights.
  • Track outcomes, not just outputs - e.g., engagement, CTR, traffic, conversions.
  • Research industry trends (trade finance, supply chain, logistics).
  • Propose new content ideas based on what you uncover and what’s performing.

Collaboration & Operations

  • Attend weekly syncs and leave with clear action items.
  • Manage approvals and follow up with stakeholders.
  • Keep timelines, assets, and workflows organized.

Bonus Skills/Tools (Impressive, Not Required)

  • SEO & Analytics Exposure:
    • Keyword research + basic SEO writing
    • Metadata and on-page optimization
    • SEMrush (keyword + competitive research)
    • Google Search Console (indexing + performance insights)
    • Google Analytics (traffic + behavior reporting)
    • UTM tagging for campaign tracking
  • Other valuable extras:
    • CMS (WordPress/Webflow)
    • Light UX/UI awareness or interest

We prioritize initiative over perfection.

 

Who You Are

  • Have had at least one content marketing or relevant internship previously.
  • Strong writer with a bias toward action, you get the first draft out fast.
  • Proficient with Canva and at least one scheduling/analytics tool.
  • Organized and proactive, you manage multiple projects without handholding.
  • Curious about B2B, finance, trade, or supply chain.
  • Comfortable driving projects forward and following up with stakeholders.

 

What Success Looks Like (90 Days)

  • Consistent delivery of high-quality drafts with fewer revisions.
  • Content calendar runs smoothly, deadlines met.
  • 6–10 publish-ready content assets per month.
  • Weekly metrics and insight dashboards maintained independently.
  • You suggest improvements, you’re not waiting to be told what to do.
