Tax Analyst
Indurante is a property tax consulting firm located in Las Vegas, Nevada. Our team handles the tax filing preparation and review of personal property assessments for private rail car companies across the US. We generate thousands of tax payments each year.
The Tax Analyst general duties will involve but not be limited to data compilation and entry, review of state tax valuations and tax filings, tax bill review and processing. Tasks are both consistent and project based, depending on the business needs. Tax analysts must be able to work in the Microsoft Office Suite, primarily Excel, as well as Adobe Acrobat. We are seeking a self-motivated individual who can communicate effectively, meet due dates, and be a collaborative problem solver.
Indurante is a small team that works both in the office and from home. Applicants will need to work in the office as the business needs; remote work is limited. Office hours are 9-5 Monday through Friday. This position has growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile and record property tax assessments and tax bills
- Detect and identify errors on state valuations and tax bills
- Effectively communicate with taxing jurisdictions to resolve issues
- Compile and key-in company data from multiple varying sources
- Review and prepare tax returns
- Process tax payments
- Review and distribute client documents and reports
- Work with other analysts to complete multi-stage projects on time
Requirements, Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Fluent in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Windows
- Familiarity with 10 -key and/or financial calculator
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Time management skills
- Consistently meet deadlines and work well under pressure
- Ability to prioritize projects and adapt to evolving priorities
- Must have strong written and oral communication skills
